In light of this pandemic, having concerns about COVID-19 are understandable, however there is the time to be prepared, display strong leadership, take necessary action to reduce the speed and spread of the novel corona virus. This should be our primary priority right now. As a global organization with operations across the globe, to be effective in managing this uncertainty and plan for the future, we have to be focused, remain calm, and take rational decisions rather than a panicked response.We all know that this a healthcare crisis, causing economic instability across many industries effecting many businesses, particularly those requiring social interaction on a day-to-day basis. If we mitigate this, we can alleviate the economic concerns. It is not predictable to say how long this situation will last, or its impact on individuals, but we know for certain that with right people and responsible actions, we can mitigate this challenge and come out stronger than ever. If history had proved anything, staying strong and being responsible will be the future of all of us.
Therefore, the safety, health and overall well-being of all our employees, contractors, associates, and partners is of utmost importance to us. The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared the Coronavirus as a pandemic on March 11, 2020, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has confirmed that the Coronavirus has begun widespread ongoing transmission in Countries across the globe, including in the United States of America.
Our Response
All our Employees are encouraged to work from home where a legal stay at home order exists, as much as possible. In the areas where a stay at home orders exist and employees are required to be onsite or if their presence is required in offices, we request for your presence to be very brief in order to stop the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
Like every organization we are continuously monitoring the outbreak of COVID-19, and as the situation has rapidly evolved in a worldwide pandemic, the health and wellbeing of our people continues to be our utmost priority.
Our Global Response Team is preparing, updating and executing a robust business resiliency plan across all our global, regional, and nationwide markets through our talented business teams. Each Business Resiliency Plan is coupled with our Business Continuity Plan, which is made in lines with the local interim mitigation and recovery guidelines and procedures, set out by local governments, for all our business units to maintain and resume to normal situation.
