“When Unthinkable Happens: How Do We Overcome This Situation, Manage The Uncertainties And Plan For The Future?”

In light of this pandemic, having concerns about COVID-19 are understandable, however there is the time to be prepared, display strong leadership, take necessary action to reduce the speed and spread of the novel corona virus. This should be our primary priority right now. As a global organization with operations across the globe, to be effective in managing this uncertainty and plan for the future, we have to be focused, remain calm, and take rational decisions rather than a panicked response. We all know that this a healthcare crisis, causing economic instability across many industries effecting many businesses, particularly those requiring social interaction on a day-to-day basis. If we mitigate this, we can alleviate the economic concerns. It is not predictable to say how long this situation will last, or its impact on individuals, but we know for certain that with right people and responsible actions, we can mitigate this challenge and come out stronger than ever. If history had proved anything, staying strong and being responsible will be the future of all of us.

Therefore, the safety, health and overall well-being of all our employees, contractors, associates, and partners is of utmost importance to us. Our Global workforce is taking every precaution while continuously engaging in recommended actions by the Federal and State Government Health and Safety Mandates to avoid the spread or contracting the COVID-19.

The CDC recommends everyday preventive actions to help prevent the spread of respiratory diseases such as Coronavirus, including:

  • Stay home as much as possible
  • Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds; if soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick
  • Put distance between yourself and other people
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands
  • Stay home and keep your distance from others in the home if you are sick
  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash and wash your hands
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe
  • Follow CDC’s recommendations for using a facemask
  • Wash your hands or use hand sanitizer often
  • Avoid sharing personal household items
  • Eat healthy foods and drink plenty of fluids

The CDC currently recommends wearing cloth face coverings in public settings where other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain (e.g. grocery stores and pharmacies) especially in areas of significant community-based transmission.
